This update primarily focuses on stability improvements but also includes smartphone integration between Windows 10 and smartphones, along with visual enhancements, and other fixes.

Smartphone integration will arrive via an app called Your Phone (which you can actually download today,) allowing you to send and receive SMS messages, manage notifications and media, and make and take calls, right from within Windows 10. You can check out Your Phone on the Microsoft Store.

Windows Insiders (beta testers) should start to see this update, version 1809, start to roll out in September. Then, the rest of the world will have access to Windows 10 version 1809 sometime in October 2018.
